BLUEPIPE MOBILE KPI APP.

BLUEPIPE HAS EVERYTHING THAT MINES AND QUARIES NEED TO STREAMLINE THEIR OPERATIONS DELIVERED TO THE PALM OF YOU HAND.

The BluePipe system focuses on the elements required to monitor production, increase productivity and enhance safety. BluePipe packages these elements up in an easily accessible mobile app.

The BluePipe KPI App puts real time data in the palm of your hand so you can make informed decisions based on what is happening on the mine now rather than later. Access your mines production data and fleet health both on and off site or anywhere you have mobile network coverage.

Client results have shown increased production efficiency of 10% using BluePipe reporting solutions.

The BluePipe KPI App is available for either Android or Apple iOS platforms and designed for access on your smartphone or tablet.

Tonnage & Payload

BLUEPIPE ENSURES EACH TRUCK HAS REAL-TIME AWARENESS OF THE SHOVEL THAT IS LOADING IT AND COMMUNICATES THE TONNAGE IN THE TRUCK’S TRAY TO THE SHOVEL OPERATOR.

The Bluepipe system initially engages with the shovel/excavator and the loading truck at the point of loading in the pit.
Each truck in the Bluepipe system has real-time awareness of the shovel that is loading it and is able to communicate the tonnage of material in its tray to that shovel.

The truck’s tonnage is displayed on the shovel operator’s Bluepipe screen indicating the extent of the over or under loading in the truck.

This enables the trucks to be filled to specification, optimising the amount of material hauled out of the pit, and improving production efficiencies.

Material Type

BLUEPIPE DOWNLOADS THE CURRENT LIST OF ALL PIT BENCH AND BLOCK NUMBERS AND THEIR MATERIAL ASSIGNMENTS (TYPE & DESTINATION) TO BE CARRIED WITH EACH TRUCK POSITION REPORT LOADED BY THE SHOVEL.

The excavators BluePipe screen is able to download the current list of all pit, bench and block numbers and their material assignments (type & destination) from the Geology Dept. via the BluePipe system and maintains them until next updated.

The excavator operator is required to choose the Pit, bench and blast number configuration from the Bluepipe Screen menu selection and thereafter need to only cycle through the material assignments configuration from that blast.

This information will then be carried with each truck position report loaded by the shovel.

Tipping Control

BLUEPIPE MONITORS THE TIPPING EVENT BY THE IN-VEHICLE TRACKING EQUIPMENT TO ENSURE ORE GOES TO THE STOCKPILE AND WASTE TO THE DUMP WITH A WARNING ACTIVATED ON REVERSE OR TIPPING ACTION TO PREVENT ILLEGAL DUMPING.

The tipping control event is monitored by in-vehicle equipment, to identify  with each position report when the tray is down and when the tray is raised.

Tipping activity activates a spontaneous position report to accurately measure timing events. Loads are counted if the tray is tipped and the truck was designated to a block number that was sourced from the shovel.

Once the truck has tipped, the block number is initialised from the position report, thus any further tipping (i.e. maintenance work) is not counted against the pit until it receives a new load from an excavator/ FEL.
